If you are going for a vehicle solely to mod and race I would choose the zo6 due to the fact it walked the m3 stock so modded it would clearly run away

I think you are confusing a Z06 for a ZR1.
you do realize that a C6 Z06 and a ZR1, stock for stock are very very close, right? If I recall, the zr1 in bone stock form (i mean factory run flats) and same with the Z06, the zr1 only went .2 seconds faster.
