"BMW’s new 3.0 liter twin turbo engine makes power exceeding its 300 horsepower rating. Even in stock form, extreme chassis flex can occur under full boost.

This accident occured when a 60 year old woman was test driving a 335i while her X5 was in for service. Full boost was reached in 1st gear at 20 mph, the car began to flex under extreme torque, and body pieces exploded. No one was hurt.

Countries importing BMW vehicles equipped with the engine may have to declare them as superweapons. The issue will be discussed at 2007 UN meetings."
