BMW 335i is the next Supra

gee thanx…

about singles

the best part about the 335 is instant boost, (and direct injecton) but with a big single your gonna loose that instant boost that makes the car perform so well… nice size twins like a pair of gt28rs would make really nice power on that car and still have a nice spool time

but im sure there will be a gt30r kit or similar for it soon

Neither of them are american cars though :stuck_out_tongue:

wow, new turbos are gonig to require new manifolds and everything! ether that or maybe ATP cancome out with somehousings that will work

… :poke: :poke:

They’re sold here. Therefore they have to meet “American” standards (crash standards, people like to buy big heavy cars here generally, etc).

direct injection is so hot.

I wonder how accessable those turbos will be? You would think easy with a inline layout but it looks like it will sit at a angle and once in the car impossible to reach.

bruised hands for sure…at a minimum. Possible digit amputation.

like changing a turbo on a skyline?

christ, you need a special custom tool just to get the intake pipes off.

BMW’s are slant sixes, so the turbos will have to be accessed from below I suspect.

Ugh…

Just some LM’s and it looks so good.

you’ve been seeking photos on e90fanatics.com

Are they lighter in their native countries? Specs please.

LOL. i <3 holly. i wish she was my grandmother.

me: wow, that’s pretty cool that you are racing a Z3.
her: i like my M better, but it’s at my son’s shop.
me: would you ever consider adopting a grandchild?

and i really like this new BMW.

I give your pic post credit for my inspiration to look.

What does that have to do with the fact that cars are being made heavier because of stricter crash ratings (as Dave said) and because people (mostly Americans) prefer larger cars and gadgets to do everything.

u got it…thats who i was thinking of…i see her on the 190 all the time in the M3

i was talking about torque

i prefer the feel of a flat tq curve to “oh my god! wwooo hooo” and as the rpm increase “hey, what happened to the power?”
its like a VW or my Saabs torque curve. it makes the car feel like shit when you’re banging through the gears and theres no power except for the the first unusable bit of first gear.

personal preference i guess.

except for when trying to source for larger injectors for the upgrades

and i’ll post this video…because i like the color:

Oh, I didn’t mean to imply a comparison between the Toyota Porker and the BMW Porker.
