The things you mentioned are what I’ve always been concerned with regarding modified turbo engines…There has already been some concern over oil temp with the 335s. People are seeing 300+ degrees when driven at the track and 240-250 degrees under normal driving conditions. What kind of oil temps do you see on the track with the S4? I know turbo engines run hotter but the oil has to break down at some point. When I drive my M3 on the track, I don’t see anything above 250 degrees.
The BMW turbos are made of some special alloy which is supposed to be capable of withstanding 1800 degrees…take it for what it’s worth.
