BMW e39 paint job done

Paint is finally done on my bmw, all in all looks great, two things I dislike. #1 being that on camera the paint looks so freaking light when its really not! #2 my front bumper is still a little wavy, just ordered a new 1 but still. Besides those two things, I think it looks pretty good, heres a few pics.

BTW, anyone know of any shop that specializes in bmw PERFORMACE? Want to do 1 of three things in the near future, supercharge it, swap an m5 motor in it or throw an ls1 in it.

LSx all the way just because of the mod potential. I am trying to convince my brother to let me put my motor in his e46.

Very nice, how do you like the 540i? I know guys in the BMW community like to act like the 540i is some type of stoplight king. Ive always been interested in them especially since they are quick for what they are.

LS1 for sure.

E39 540 is about on par with E36 M3 performance in a straight line.

Thats odd, why becuase of the heavier weight? You’d think a 540 would rape an e36 m3 with 50 more hp… My 540 feels torquey as fuck, my old m3 felt nothing like it.

Love it. Personal opinion, but I don’t like the interior. Exterior is sexy though.

Black leather has no rips but shows wear so to spice it up keeping the eyes off the wear in the seats I painted the interior trim blue. In the future im going to two tone the seats black/blue and probably paint the blue trim right now high gloss black

Its definetly the weight, 540’s I think are about 700-800 pounds heavier

Looks great, just dont like the painted interior items.
