When in Rome.
Love Chaparral boats. Great quality in their builds and we never had an issue when we owned one. Best of luck selling this. I’ll be passing the word.
God damn it Fry, I told you this was gonna happen. Gotta get cash for the new minivan, huh?
Toyota Sienna here I come!
Naw wifey’s case load (she’s a hooker) never picked back up after her maternity leave, so that doesn’t leave much room for things as superfluous as boats at the moment. I’ll get another one within a couple of years, but for now it’s gotta go.

Yep, store it for the winter at Bill’s, keep it in the driveway in the summer.
I pick it up tonight. I’m going to pull the prop and get that repaired. It doesn’t need it but it’s a little dinged up so for a hundred bucks I don’t want that turning off potential buyers. Going to clean it up this weekend, then it will be available to the first person with cash. Otherwise it goes on boattrader.com for $8500.
Yes? Please go on…
If it’s paid for just hold on to it, even if it’s just to store it this year. There’s always going to be some expense now that you have a wife, a kid and a house in the burbs that will prevent you from buying another one.
She’s largely clean now. Getting the prop refinished this week and giving her a wax job and a carpet shampoo then to the masses she goes.

Ugh, I hate you.
I hate that it is 18’ and open bow. I have been looking at boats there, but I want at least 26’ and two beds. oh well, good luck and if it doesn’t sell maybe my wife will talk me into it.
Pictures. To the general public she goes.
Very nice and GLWS!!!
Bump. Got two offers for $7k last night, but now that I’ve spent so much time and effort shining it up and refurbing the prop I’m going to sit and wait for $7500.
Someone come get it!
I seen the title and thought this
Thank you for your input.
Sold.
Well, just took a deposit. It’s still in my garage. We agreed on $7500. Not bad considering I paid $8k from a dealership with a 0 hours motor in 2009. :pimp:
So, now that I’ll soon have cash in my pocket, who’s got a $4k DD to sell me to replace my Xterra? Hrm, I wonder if addicted to boots still has that 3.5 Altima…
Not that I needed it, but this thread is excellent birth control.
