I am coming up on a year of owning my first water machine, which is a 2000 Sea-doo GTI.
The ski is in very good condition for being 12 years old but I am looking to get the hull re-done to get rid of some stress cracks, chips, etc. The ski doesn’t take in any water.
Where do the boaters and PWC owners take their machines to get fixed? I am not ready to learn fiber-glassing since I am still being treated for cancer but want to the ski to be ready for my wife to use this summer.
Also, it seems like a common issues for the 95 to mid 2000’s having the gas gauge issue of returning empty. I have the instructions to fix the issue, which was found on the site greenhulk but I am no where in the shape to lift and work on stuff with my current condition.
I have a sea doo jet boat and my gas gauge does not stay on empty, but it’s kind of a guess at times. The needle moves around a lot while riding if it’s not topped off. Not sure for the hull work, I havent had any done and don’t know anyone who has. Greenhulk is a good site though, I’m on there as well.
I’ve snorkeled most of that Canadian shoreline from the old wreck off Sherkston to just above the Peace Bridge over the years. It’s amazing how clear the lake has gotten thanks to the zebra mussels. Most of the time we’re just cruising around the upper river though pulling a wakeboard or tube.
