Body parts for a new car.

As many of you know, I hit a deer (it hit me) a while back, and now with spring coming I plan on getting it fixed. My deductible is $1,000 and the quote I got to fix it is $1,700. SO, my question is, is there any website that I can order a rear bumper and a driver side front fender already factory painted? And will it be cheaper to do it this way?

So in essence what I’d like to do is:

Buy OEM factory painted rear bumper/front fender
Ship to my house
Install my self
Profit?

Oh yeah, this is for a 2008 Subaru wrx Obsidian black pearl paint.

i seriously doubt you will find a place to ship already painted body panels. but who knows. but then you are going to have to deal with paint match.

you could do what i did buy the parts & get them painted at a shop and install yourself.

I hit a road cone on the 90 last winter that a semi bumped into my lane at 70mph.

bumper covers are pretty easy to install. and front fenders shoulnt be that difficult.

if you have an estimate it should show what it will save you to assemble youreself.

If I bough that ^ sti bumper… how much would an average shop charge to sand it down and paint it?

I may just go through insurance…it’ll save me $700 bucks and it’s not like it’s a claim against me. If only I can find that deer so he can pay for the damage.

You are far better off grabbing a ready to paint part.

same here… am dissapointed.
