so my front bumper on my 2005 civic is pretty beat up. I’m not sure what option i should go with. buy a new alrdy painted bumper off eBay for 265 shipped. buy an unpainted bumper off eBay for 65 shipped and have a local shop paint it. or just go through a shop for the whole thing. anyone have some past experience? or a decent shop/person to go to?
its probably going to be a couple hundred to paint. figure a few hours labor at ~65-75(i think thats going hourly rate for bodyshop?) plus materials. i think youre better off getting one already painted.
Give Andy at Zeons Automotive, Collision and Custom Car a call. He’s in lockport and own the shop. He does some great work http://www.facebook.com/pages/Zeons-Automotive-Collision-and-Custom-Car/100396730029032
The only thing I would be worried about buying a prepainted one off ebay is that it the color might not match the rest of your car perfectly. I would get it unpainted and have a body shop paint it for you so you know it will match.
Holy crap $65 for a bumper is so cheap.
Not to worried if the paint is a little off. The car is 7 years old, and it show. It’s my beater but the current bumper is to thrashed.
+1
CALL ZEONS.
ZEONS rarely pick up their phone. Been trying to contact them for 2 weeks with no luck.

PM me if you want to get ahold of him. I’ll do what I can to get him in touch with you.
vic puglia @ kenmore collision
PM me your numbers. You’ll have a call by the end of the day.
I highly doubt you’ll be able to get paint done for under $200. a pint of color alone is going to be $50-75, plus reducer, primer sealer, clear coat, and activator…THEN labor…
No but a matching paint job compared to someone painting it without seeing the paint fade on the car… thats a huge plus in my book for spending the extra $1

Andy painted both of my Integra bumpers at the end of last year without the car there and surprisingly it matched almost perfect.
This topic always comes up. If you want a great job done either go to Aero Collision and speak to Ken Sr or Kenmore Collision and speak with Vic. These places have been in business for a very long time and I’ve personally had work done by both. No complaints could be had and they always go above and beyond.
My favorite place to go is Northeast Collision on Mckinley in Hamburg/Blasdell. I never take my cars anywhere else.
Rustoleum and a roller.
Kidding.
Hi guys, This Is Andy over at Zeons Automotive,
We can take care of all your paint needs at a reasonable cost. I do give a warranty as well.
To paint a bumper, on average (if the bumper is brought to me) Is around 225 for standard colors per bumper. Black and red are a little bit more in price, same with tri-colors. I can fix torn and broken from bumpers the proper way. Bumpers are returned to the customer at OEM if not better of a finish.
Z Phat Z, if you have tried calling my cell I have not been picking up private numbers if you have called from one. If I dont pick up at the Shop on the first time, just leave a message and I get back to potential customers within the day.
If some one needs to get a hold of me please call me (Andy) on my shop phone at 716-210-3200
I do not get on here much to reply to PMs, so please call me if you have any questions
