The K is a huge step up. The lower portion of the block consists of a bearing girdle which is known as a split case, much stronger than the b series. Fully counterweighted and forged crank. k20 head has big, smooth ports which put the b’s to shame. Valves are 2mm larger as well. I mean Just look at the facts. I’d be retarted not to go k.

A2’s can easily make 550whp on a stock block. What can a b18c make? not that

T1 made 700 on a stock s2000 motor. Depends on the turbo size and tuning. Peak numbers are meaningless though, the K is a superior motor in many ways.

The fastest N/A K-Series is 9.23 @ 147mph, where the fastest turbo K-Series is like 9.5x @ 15x
