only for a split second…just enough to feel it stutter real quick…its deff. a issue that hasto do with the car being too rich…right now I have my tune a little on the fat side and that was before I added my air filter…I dont know how much restriction my air filter add’s to my turbo but im gonna lean it out a little and im sure it will go away…it doesnt break up anywhere else besides when i first hit it…

no trans is still 100% shot lol…it just doesnt stutter like my bad ICM was doing…my trans will just slip during mid gear sometimes and wont go anywhere lol and I hafto let off every gear for it to shift.

Upon initial WOT, your car is still being basically controlled by the ECU. You’d have to REALLY fuck up your tune for the ECU not to try and maintain stoich?

Why is it ‘deff.’ a tune issue and why not something else? ECU related? Timing? etc…

Also, it’s hard to dignose any problem when you have other problems (ie trans).

i agree, get that trans fixed first, then start going through process of elimination.

From my data logger…it is not a timing issue…i mean under WOT and full boost, im only running 10* advancement just to be on the safe side…my car is funny when it comes to fuel tuning…if its a little too fat, it will stutter a little then clear off…I know this because I have issues with being too rich in the past.

my cars A/F is controlled by the PE vs. RPM table and the MAF obviously. Now, I have always left my PE vs. RPM table the same just adding fuel every 500rpms…this has worked for me, and has worked for others so we stick with it…once the PE vs. RPM is set, we do most the tuning from the MAF…and I have my MAF set at 59.65lb/min…which is huge…if I lean it out to 56.00lb/min I bet it will clear up.

Your datalogger is not telling you if a problem exists. It’s giving you data for you to use to analyze.

Unless you have a different ECU, I believe OBDII forces stoich while you are not WOT. Again, you have to really fuck up your tune for your ECU not to maintain stoich. I can understand it maybe a tune issue on WOT operation but I am a bit more skeptical when it comes to this issue off WOT. It’s completely possible but not many people really know how to tune a car.

But, lean it out and see if it fixes the problem.

ooo maybe you mis understood me…it only does it when im WOT…when i first hammer the gas to the floor…it stutters for a second or 2 then clears off…it doesnt do anything but drive normal under WOT…and my Stoich AFR is set at 14.7

just leaned it out a little bit and took her for a ride…car is 100% fixed. No stutter or anything…pulls HARD now lol

What would cause the tune to change from before? MAF take into consider weather/baro? That would cause the lean condition?

Sorry for misunderstanding the issue. I thought you had this issue on normal cruise.

I changed it from before…I richened it up when I was trying to figure out this issue weeks ago…I thought it was a lean condition at first…So i just went back to one of my leaner tunes and it cleared right up.

I had a ICM from my GTP you could have borrowed to test the issue but I guess its better to just get a new one. What are your plugs gapped at? The stock GM ignition is great at burning near everything but colder plugs + FI they should be gapped a little smaller. I ran TR7s in my GTP at .45 with good results.

I am running TR6’s gapped at .035 (from the factory)…plugs arent my issue…its clearly my tranny.

I would get a cam but I wanna keep my motor pretty much stock besides Im gonna upgrade my valvetrain (put 130lb valvesprings in and stuff) and im gonna push 20psi daily :banana
