DUKERS, where we at for class tomorrow? Lib?
aha yea , I think we are in the library.Did you start that paper yet ?
Nope :lol
i gotta start my paper tomm.
I had a turbo d that detonated up top due to a small hole in my vac line on my fuel pressure regulator. sounded like miss firing.
things you can check with 0 expense
1-borrow a dizzy and test out
2-check to see what base timing is set at
3-check spark plug gap
not sure what plug wires are on the car but please only use OEM honda stuff. if all that stuff checks out then you can pretty much move away from the ignition system.
like eric stated a hole in a vacuum line to the FPR could cause detonation check or replace the line to the FPR.
quoted for another quality post from a man who knows his turbo hondas.
Yea , plugs are gapped right they are bk7e
OEM honda wires. Heard good things about honda wires so planning on staying with them.
Gonna get the coil and ignitor at some point this week.
Will also check vaccum lines. Any other lines that could cause that besides fpr?
edit:nvm d series ones are a lot cheaper than b.
get OEM shit for the dizzy not napa.
Really that much ?
Yea deffinetly going with OEM.
