if i use boot camp to partition my hard drive on my mac, can i reverse it if i dont want it anymore?
also does the computer come with windows xp, or vista, or 7? or do i have to purchase it?

Yes you can reverse it, no Macs do not come with copies of Windows so you will have to purchase it.

You can remove the windows partition in the Disk Utility and allocate all space back to the mac side. Be careful to select the right partition of course and back up data if possible.
Pick up an OEM license for windows on newegg perhaps.
