You can buy PI Cams and Intake for probably ~$150 all day long…
Put those on your NPI heads, and you will make the same amount of power if you did a PI headswap. I’ve seen it done several times with 96-97 Thunderbirds.

That, a tune, gears and converter, it will wake the car up A TON.
The budget converter to put in that thing is the marauder OEM converter, they are very reasonably priced.
I’d bet for $1000 total (or less), you can get everything done.

There is a small part of me that wants to build a 5.4L Turbo to swap into my CV. To be able to have a ~<12 second big body is awesome.
stay far away from patriot. they are affordable for a reason. i know 3 people who had major problems with those heads…1 of which who lost a motor because of them. I made a tad over 500rwhp on the stock PI heads…with a cam upgrade. no port, polish, nothing. The stock PIs will take you far with power.
if you do want heads…fox lake makes the best.
