Mud Pie, No thanks !

mmm mmmmmm mud pie

yea your still going ot be slow

I see mid 13’s in his future

like i said those 4.6 even with blowers are slow

haha thanks blue… but i was tryin to get all the low 14’s ppl in on this! im actually aimin for around a 14 flat on street tires. and to me (ive had a 89 topaz, 92 ranger 2.3 and this car) , a 14 flat is goin to seem like insane, hahaha but to everyone else, ill still be a 2 ton grocery getter (which aint bad)

you go to CAL? live down here or commute

i commute from scenery hill

first gen sohc 4.6 non pi motors are turds

do a pi heads/intake swap, then you’ll be moving a bit better

I run low 14’s. If I start in 3rd

 gain of what 9 hp?

what is the PI swap[as in what PI means]

actually… if you take the 215hp SOHC 4.6, and add he PI heads and Intake, you should be sitting at around 275hp.

If you use the SVO/Bullitt intake, possibly around 285-290.

The motor will have higher compression over the a 99-04 GT. So it’d make a tad more HP.

throw some cams in there too while youre at it, and it’d make for a decent motor.

Edit: but the bottom end on that tbird, I wouldnt go over 7psi of boost or kaboom tranny or bottom end.

I give it 300rwhp or so.

atleast the alternator is easy to get too :greddy:

PI performance heads
the heads and intake manifold changed in 99. thats the only gain from the 235 to 265 hp the newer gt’s are rated
w/ the cams, those 2 things, and a tune, you can actually gain 60hp. I wanted to do the head swap, but CR would have been too high for boost later on

why are they PI tho. is that a stock part or what

yeah… its just the stamp on the head
they flow alot better.
