ownt
I immediately focus on Chuck every time I see that pic.
Travis bought a McLaren??? :lol
i just wept. poor car.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
hahahaha rofl:rofl
LOL:D
shit son, i’ll store that thing indefinitely up here…
Sadly, this is not uncommon in this car and a good number of these have caught fire(both track and street cars). Hell both GTR’s on the Gulf team went up in flames in the '97 season. It’s said that there is lack of airflow around those inconel headers in the bay and it eventually sets shit alight under the bonnet. 24K gold foil reflectant or not, that motor puts out a boatload of heat under there.
at least it was one of the boring silver ones.
oooo no!!! my fav car evar pulled a travis :Idiots
Best street car ever produced, and I think it’ll hold that title for a long time.
Define “best”.
It’s not the fastest, not the most expensive, not the most over engineered (but close).
I’ll play a little devils advocate :ahh
It’s just my personal opinion. The Enzo looks like ass and is slower, and anything else that is ‘faster’ that is 2wd just has an excess amount of unusable power for the street. Sure, the Veyron accelerates faster, but not by a whole lot (F1’s have trapped as high as 138 stock) but weighs a ton (over 2 actually) and looks like ass doing it.
I see this developing into a “What’s your favorite supercar?” thread.
LOL Benny!
i wonder if they will fix it? if its insured for 3 mill…
- In a speed race, if the McLaren F1 were allowed to reach 120 mph before the Bugatti started, the Bugatti would still be the first to reach 200 mph, according to the host of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson.
:ponder
Veyron traps low 140’s and I’ve seen the F1 trap in the mid-high 130’s.

McLaren’s homepage shows the car running 11.1@138. Assuming that this is true (and manufacturers normally are pretty close), the Veryon would obviously beat it, but there is no way in hell the Veyron is going to do what JC said it would do.
