Is the plastic resevoir on the brake cylinder easliy replacable or do I have
to replace the entire cylinder?
Looks like the plastic resevoir is press fitted on the cylinder as I don’t see
any other way of removing it.
Any idea?

You can just pop that sucker right off. You are not however supposed to re-use the two little seals on each side. So if you replace the tank go ahead and order 2 new seals.
My buddy fiber glass coated his… some mixture he used on his canoe…fiber glass patch liquid. Worked mint, it hardened quite well.
The only reason I want to replace it is because ambient heat from my
turbo melted the side of the face, permanently fusing the cap.
I had an ABS cylinder that I replaced with a non-abs cylinder (since I
removed my ABS unit). I have the original ABS cylinder w/ resevoir
however it has 3-ports whereas the non-ABS has two. So I figure I just
replace the resevoir.
Any tips on popping it off so as to not break anything? :dunno:
take a putty knife and notch it with a 90 - 100mm opening. slip it between the plastic and cast housing… this will pry up evenly on the plastic flange without overstressing the plastic, thisis how I just did the FC master cylinder and the mounting is even more delicate then yours…
and get get some 22 ga SS sheet and make a damn heat shield!!!
I bought some Thermotec adhesive sheild that I bought last week; just
haven’t installed it yet.

Anywho, thanks for the tips guys.

Some dude had the same problem at the niagara meet, he opened the hood at bings place and hit shit was melted from the turbo.
