brake line brust!

got a 93 s13 with 30mm z32 front calipers with stock the stock z32 lines that came on the caliper, they worked amazingly till now.

Today it started leaking allot by the criped fitting where the flex from meets the hard line, then failed completly as i pulled into the residence parking lot.

i heard that ur supposto install braided lines when ur doing the swap i didn’t.

What lines specifically do i need to buy so this does happen again, cause i honestly have noo idear, wat to buy.

Go buy proper conversion lines.

PDM sells them for $71.50, I’m sure SG or Varun can get them for you cheap.

I bought mine from PDM and never had a problem for 3 years now.

+1
nice proper SS lines
/thread
LOL

ok sick now i just need to ask which one to get because i cannot remember for certain which caliper’s they are all i know is that they are aluminum.
i cannot afford to make a mistake and order the wrong part.

is there any way to properly identify the calipers visually

all 300zx/r32/JDM s14 4 piston front brakes use the same fitting. To figure out if you have Iron/Alum/30mm/26mm check this out

sweet +1 i know it’s aluminum and pretty sure it 30mm

i just realized what a cunt of a job this is going to be. especially in a school paking lot FML why does this shit always happen in the winter

wondering if i could make my own lines at school but, probaly not., but if i have to, i need to know: 1. what is the thread for the line going into the z32 caliper?
2 the thread for the end attaching to the hardline?

and any other misallanious little shit ie tips and tricks.

oh and is the s13 master cylinder a 2 chambered redundent system cause right now i has no brakes all round!

get another stock line - shave off the 2mm and done .

they prolly messed up doing this the first time.

whats the difference between 26 and 30 mm

i think it’s the stock line that was the problem, cause it’s to short or something, but we went to the track a few time and i never had a problem.
what a piss off
