How do I change my brake master cylinder? or tips/advice. I need to do it tomorrow because i’ve had mushy brakes for too long andthe cause is it won’t hold pressure.
1990- nissan 240sx
there should be a couple metal brake lines, one for your brake booster i belive.
probably a 12mm bolt or smaller, take them off and whatever is left on the brake master.
install new brake master, hook up the 2 metal lines and anything else required for removal.
bleed your brakes!!
hopefully i didnt miss anything, overall its pretty simple job.
make sure you have some dot3 or dot4 brake fluid before you start the job.
put up some pics so other people with the same problems/questions can get some use out of it.
