on my friends eh idk… 91 or sumthin EF the brakes dont have pressure when the car is on, but there is pressure when the car is off. it holds brake fluid fine and there are no leaks coming from anywhere or any of the lines. its kinda of a shitty description… but anyone know what this could may be?

brake booster? That’s really the only part of the brake system that is effected when the car is off or on.
either the booster or some bad vacume leaks.

if it’s a booster though his pedal would be rock solid. drums in the rear? leaking wheel cylinder…also possible a hose is broken but inside of it’s sheath. check hoses for ballooning while the pedal is being pressed. i’m still going with leaky wheel cylinder.
