I have for sale a brand new manual transmission for a 2003 - 2006 350z (Model No.FS6R31A) (Part No. 32010-CD009). The unit comes fully assembled and in factory packaging.
I’m asking 1,000$ + delivery if applicable.
Any questions please PM or email. We are willing to deliver anywhere in the GTA.
Brand new member and his only posts have been contributed to this thread where he is trying to push his possessions. I must ask, what are your credentials Mr 350zpartsguy
I usually purchase from people when I know their background well. If for some reason I don’t know the background, I rely heavily on my judgement and most of the time I end up walking away from the potential sale. Most people here are like that as well. I believe we’d requested a limit against the new sellers in the for sale section. Not sure what happened to that. Something like at least 1 months membership and no less than 10 posts.
EDIT: Even I, not owning a 350Z, knows of the transmission change that the Z33 experienced throughout the years. First years were incredibly weak and could barely but handle the stock power with light driving. An aggressive driver would constantly blow transmissions on a stock engine. The 350Z is an “aggressive driver” car so a lot of the trannys were replaced under Warranty. Nissan said NO, too much money lost, and released a revision in later years. Not sure if there was a recall on earlier model years as well.
See my first post, the transmission model code is No.FS6R31A. I just went through all the 350z service manuals starting from 2003 up to 2008 and all service manuals showed the same model number.
As for Nissan part numbers, the one on the box says No. 32010-CD009. I checked the Nissan FAST system and this part number is the updated transmission for the 2003 to 2006 6sp MT 350Z.
You guys are right. I was pretty lazy about getting the right information for this sale. Let me update and see if anyone out there needs this thing.
As for my SN, 350partsguy was all I could come up with. I figured it was appropriate, but clearly I didn’t back it up. I chose it simply because I can get most NISMO parts discounted for the Z’s. Normally I don’t deal with transmissions.
pcproa: Yes, you are absolutely right. There was an updated transmission that came out in 2005. The changes were made internally and did not affect the outside of the case until, as I have just learned, later years. Thanks for the heads up.
I have to say you have all been decent about the situation and I appreciate that I haven’t been flammed off the board.
