Steep price tag. Is it street legal? The about page mentions other models in the future. I love Buells, I really hope they come back.
thats half the price of the 1190RS theyve been selling for years. This is their first “affordable” bike since the Buell days.
They supposedly have a new naked bike coming too, it might be the surprise they have under cover at that show…
That’s ducati price though… And the duc looks better.
its got similar numbers, designed and built in the US, and its low production.
eventually theyre trying to get back to lower priced bikes, but its very difficult to do without a large backing company like they had before.
I dont like either style wise really. I havent liked ducatis since the split headlight days, and I’d prefer a naked EBR.
I’m just looking forward to whatever comes in the future. Glad to see them getting back in the game.
1190RS.
I digg the bike, price is actually cheaper than I thought it is going to be. Yes, $19k is a lot of k’s and it most likely will not be the quickest at the track; but I am just happy that America HAVE something that can be a contender in this class if bikes. Not to mention WSBK 2014!!
I like all the usual crazy feature EBR came up with, and the 20 level TC. I like the fairing that looks like track fairing, the direct link rear suspension and a crazy rake. The only thing I don’t like is the dated looking gauge cluster and I wish EBR kept the belly exhaust design.
