i stumbled across this looking for sum gear

compares all the major sportbikes and i was honestly SHOCKED

im sure some of you know that im the hunt for the new cbr and tryin to sell my gixxer

the new cbr1000rr is a HALF SECOND faster that any other bike there in the quarter
Its the cheapest
get the best MPG
HAS THE LEAST amount of power
and its the best looking IMO (besides ducatis one swingarm thingy, that is HAWTTT)

i couldnt believe how much ass it kicked and i couldnt believe how poorly the R1 performed (almost an 11 second quarter and these are professional riders)

well read up!

PS they should of kept the old front of the zx10 like on willys, the new models are hideous (again IMO)

I like the Honda as well but i thought in your other post you said you never used all the power of your thou. Why not buy a 600 and be able to push it more?

I like everything about the new honda except the snubby nose. It looks like it got punched in the face you have to admit, especially in person. That wouldn’t stop me from buying one though, they’re super nice.

Either the honda or I’ve wanted to try a newer gixxer 2005’s +…

the new cbr is not a 1/2 second faster.

I love the new cbr’s and i love the kawasakis too. But these articles are so biased… i guarantee with more seat time those other bikes would be faster. They are just harder to launch, keep down, etc etc. look at the traps.

I hate reading these comparisons, all of these bikes are so competitive 95% of the people that ride them wont notice a difference.

PS. suzuki has always been the drag bike to beat it seems, and the only suzuki i had, was the easiest to launch/fastest at the track. (i bet my zx-10 would KILL it from a roll though)

PSS. watch rickey gadson race a stock zx-10r in the 1/4… he runs like a 9.2 on it.

The RR has always been a top dog, it’s a great designation. I would still take the Duc over any of them though, personal preference.
