I don’t think its a piece of Junk but it is not in the same league as the Veyron.
Any person who has 600K to spend on a car will be more then intelligent enough to not pay 600K for junk.
Definitely a bargain compared to the Veyron, this would be my first choice.
In terms of performance, it’s definitely beastly.
But they are also two completely different cars, in a similar category.

It is fast, but the Veyron is a super luxo GT that you could probably drive every day…
The Veyron is 10x hotter than that car.
The Ultimate Aero’s performance is impressive, but it looks like a kit car next to the Veyron.
if you wanted outright speed you buy a Arieal Atom…
this SSC is in between the Atom and the Veyron…
you get similar performance but you also get a roof and doors.
Then you get the Veyron and you sacrifice unnoticeable amounts of performance for huge noticeable levesl of luxury and pussy-magnitism, based almost purely on the price tag of the car.
it also appears as though Shelby just stuck a powerful motor inside a dated but sexynonetheless body, corvette based perhaps (chassis wise)?
The veyron is a wonder of engineering, the style, the quality, the motor… everything is a superlative.
