For $1Million is it wrong to have expected more?
In his defense he did have a passenger, he eased into it, and this was PBIR in Palm Beach.
For those who cant view the video he ran a 10.1 at 139 with a 1.66 60ft.

For a 4000 lb car, I’d say that’s pretty stout. Performance isn’t always measured in a straight line…
10.1 and you can drive the thing to the opera like it was an S Class
id say thats pretty god damn amazing
god i could totaley put like an couple grand in my fbody and have an WAYYYYYYYY sicker car my freind ran .5secs faster with only an cam an spray in his Z why do people waste their money on these supercars people are so stupid id love to see the look on his girls face when i blew past them in my car at a light then shed be jealuos and id just lol
lol. Flawless execution, Newman.
 newman
Not the point im trying to make at all but ok.
I understand everything that goes into making these, they truely are amazing but I would have thought it was going to run faster. Especially with that million dollar price tag, is it the how few are made? Nothing stock can touch these but there are supercars with only a few things done that can burn this for less than half the money.
lol
Uh
You do realize the car is geared for top speed and not 1/4 siqqqness?
But at the same time what is comparable in the 1/4? Clearly you know more about it then I do.
This guy ran it as a joke, he was at the road course next to the track most of the night. He did 2 passes. First was a 12.0 he couldnt launch it. Came back still didnt use launch control and was able to run this. I’m guessing he could have had 9s if he really tried.
They still must have had the 1/4 in mind while making this.
they had, 0-60, top speed, and unparallelled refinement. it was just an obvious side effect that it would have a decent 1/4 time.
Meh. If you break that down into a dollar/performance ratio it probably isn’t worth it.
If I wanted an awesome performance car that was crazy fast and I could take to an opera I would get a CTS-V and save myself $920,000 (actually more because I think Veyrons cost like $1.3 million or something).
LOL at Fbody jokes.
Jimshorts you’re such a dragster now. It all started when you kept cutting time off at the track by simple snky snky Benz mods this season and from when you pulled on a cam only fbod! ZING.
+1 for not being built for 1/4 mile times
I’d rather spend money on a Veyron than drive an fbody.
Might have a few more simple snky snky Benz mods for next season…
I would buy a GTR for 100k and pay AMS another 100k to make it a 8sec car.
200k for an 8 second car is retarded.
i would totally buy ferrari and put 8 turbos on it…then i would have a 7.9 second car
take that!
But it would be a “supercar” though, right?
I’d buy 30 used Kia rios and crash them all
