I’m all for the Chinese starting to respect intellectual property and copyrights etc. but I wonder why they’re actually paying for this rather than reverse engineering/stealing it like they usually do.

The new 9-5 was based off the new Buick Regal/Lacrosse
9-3 is based on a platform similar to G6 and Malibu
9-4X was going to be a SRX

The way I read it was GM thought it would take to long so they bailed

I thought I read another article stating that buy selling this old shit to them, that they could stay afloat and continue business.
