I’m kinda slowly building up my 1987 Nissan 300ZX N/A. I’m looking for some idea’s and info.
What products have people out there have had good experiences with? I heard that Venom does nothing? is this true? and what about Greddy E-manage? its more expensive, but I also can’t tune it on my own.
I’m also want to get my exhaust rebuilt from scratch for something that can put out a few more ponies. Anyone know of any good shops in the edmonton area that can build me an exhaust? there aren’t really any out there are the market that i can buy and have them installed.
I already have my intaked done, and plugs, and plug wires. I want to have MSD ignition, and HyperGround Wires that I will be ordering in a day or two.
If you can comment on this, or have any advice, please post it. My car will also get painted locally here in Yellowknife, as well as getting the wheels polished out. Don’t ask my why, But i’ve grown the love the Stock Z wheels.
I also want to lower in 3/4 to an inch. any ideas on that?
So for any advice, money isn’t a huge issue. For the parts… not you! haha. anyways, thanks in advance.
Of course you should, the 350 might not like winter though.
What are your goals for the car? People always ask what they should do for modifications, but that totally depends on what you want out of the car.
If you want to go fast, you don’t have much choice but to turbo your car.
If your just looking for a modest gain, do a 2.5" - 3" exhaust, electric fan conversion and grounding wires. You can also bolt up a ka24e throttle body from a 240sx or stanza, and port match the intake manifold. I wouldn’t go much further than that, unless you go turbo.
I’m not sure if they all still make Z31 suspension, but they did at one point. Eibach, tokico, intrax, suspension techniques.
SNAIL POWER
if you ask me N/A is a waste of time man, do your self a turbo conversion!
this guy has gone from n/a to turbo, to custom suspension, making his own ECU’s to all kinds of cool mods for his z31! good info! http://www.redz31.com/
