How was he revving a ‘stock’ K20 to 9k+?

And 236whp on a ‘stock’ k20?

Stock K20’s can go to 9k, mine went to 9k, that’s where my limiter was…this year I’ll probably be revving to 9,5 or so…

and 236whp can be done on a stock K20a…that’s not the first or anything.

Oh, I was under the impression that even k20s with cams/head work were considered reliable to 8.5k, I’m guessing you can’t rev it to 9k+ all that much without sacrificing some longevity :rofl

Everytime I raced all motor I would rev to 8,8…cams will make it more reliable up in that area from what I’ve seen and can extend the revving point a bit.
