It is a great movie, mostly because of the cars, but also because Steve is an uber-BAMF.
Bullitt is almost as bad as two lane blacktop, and that ain’t saying much.

two lane black top was a piece of shit… bullit is actaully a decent movie. frank bullit was the original bad ass SFPD before harry callahan… i love the scene where he just stack the frozen diners… he dont even give a fuck what they are. he just knows he gotta eat.
Steve McQueen > * action heros of the past 20 years…
Except maybe Bruce Willis, but that’s close.
