Red Sox fell apart. Yanks had a horrible year. Neither team were in WS form this year, neither of em made it past the first round.

I watch baseball because it’s exciting to watch and fun. What happened 5 years ago doesn’t do a goddamn thing for me. Thats the great thing about the world series, after game 7, everyones on the same page again, and it starts ALL OVER AGAIN, every year.

I went to college in connecticut and rhode island…both very red sox states. I could give a shit about both teams, but one observation I did make was that Red Sox fans made considerably more of an effort to put the Yankees down than actually cheering for the sox. All I know is that my truck was keyed, had the antenna bent, and dented because I had NY plates. To me that is fanatacism, not being a fan.
and it put a bad taste in my mouth…no offense to those of you who truly love the sport.
