yeah thats typical for sux fans, like yelling yankees suck at a cleveland game.
Let’s go Knicks!
:lmfao: @ yankees super fans on OT
I don’t know, what’s more frustrating?
Rooting for the shitty Yankees in 80’s and early 90’s when you know they sucked and didn’t have a chance, or rooting for these overpaid pieces of shit that should be winning it every year but finding a way to choke it away? I think the latter is worse because you actually have expectations.
Using history to argue shit about the present is :gay:If the only thing you can do to defend these pieces of shit are the accomplishments of past real Yankees, you’re a fucking moron.
What the fuck do you think you are doing? Jackass
you are such a whiney bitch, i can actually picture you crying as the redsox lost in 3 straight games.
I can rest easy knowing I wont have to worry about the sox winning another world series for another 87 years
I made on post JACKASS.
Is that what your boyfriend told you as he pulled his cock out of your ass last night right before you went to bed?
2005 Results:
NY Yankees 95-67- eliminated ALDS
Boston Red Sox- 95-67- eliminated ALDS
Can’t you guys stop hating on each other and just accept the fact that that looks pretty similar…
Besides, its all about Cleveland next year, the guys they traded the good team for are finally old enough to play in the majors
And my point, is that year in and year out, half of my satisfaction of being a Red Sox fan comes from watching the Yankees fan piss and moan. All they do is rest on their laurels, crying about how they are so great, like they have something to prove. But what do they have to show for it again this year? No world series.
The way the Sox finished out the season, I would have been absolutely amazed if they had made it to the WS. The team was not the same team that won last year. A butchered rotation isn’t going to let any team make it to the World Series.
I find it amazing that with the talent that has been amassed over the last 5 years on the Yankees, they haven’t been able to win. Each year better than the last, yet unable to win the World Series each sucessive year.
Would I have like do to repeat? Sure. Am I just as happy seeing the Yankees not win? Yea, so what? Don’t give me some bull shit about wanting another team to not win making you not a fan because you do the same shit.
Stop your whining and bitching. RSN will always be > the evil empire of idiots in my mind, and I can die happy having crushed them in such a defeating mannner after so many years of torment.
If they didn’t win another championship for another 87 years, I’d still be a fan.
I can’t say that about 90% of the Yankees fans I know that only care when they have the best team money can buy. Fair weather fans at their worst.
Thats what I said like 10 posts ago. Neither of us have anything to brag about.
That said, I couldn’t believe the choke maneuver that the Indians pulled coming into the home stretch there.
Haha and his posts resort to this. I remember you once saying that your intellect was too high for common people to understand. This post is an excellent example.:bloated:
I’ve found that the best way to deal with children who want to resort to name calling is to act like a child.
You are very good at it!
I bet money that if the Red Sox were in the Yankee’s shoes (big payroll, crapload of WS titles, etc…) you would still be a fan. The teams are what they are. I don’t like the fact that they spend spend spend instead of doing things the appropriate way and bring up minor league talent like the rest of baseball, but my grandfather was a hair away from playing for the Yankees and he got drafted. The real fans all have a reason for liking thier team.
On the same token, RSN has just as many gay bandwagon fans as NY does, especially with the recent WS win. In fact, I would say a lot of the BoSox fans like the Sox because they are the arch-rival of the Yankees, not because they like Ortiz’s clutch play or Manny’s long ball or “Cowboy Up” or even Mike Greenwell and his 12 RBI’s in a game to hold the most for an AL player (Mark Whitten has the NL record with 16 if anyone cares).
My team lost, oh well. I didn’t expect them to get much farther.
:funny:
boston had the 2nd highest payroll next to the yankees, so stop using that as an excuse walter, it gets old, and makes u sound like a cry baby.
You say that like the Yankees payroll isn’t 1.5 times the RedSox. At least with 2/3 the payroll they were able to win a World Series. Apples to apples.
And I agree on the gay bandwagon fans in the RSN as well. I can’t stand the girls w/ the pink Johnny Damon jerseys…
You and me both…I just hope it was because they were young and didnt know how to win the close ones…when you lose 5 straight 1-run games in the last week of the season you’re not ready for the playoffs.
:word: to that. Regardless of what the White Sox do this playoffs, I think Cleveland will win the ALC next year.
Oh well, always next year :-p I’d like to see the Tribe back.
I was kinda bummed the Bravos didn’t freaking make it out of round one after 15 straight. I was in the company box for game 1 B)
