How did you get your car down so low in weight? I think mine is at 2900ish and I thought that was good. How much tq you get out of this thing? I feel bad my h/c car only made the same power. lol.
Knowing him, he probably stripped everything that wasn’t needed for the car to atleast run. Plus it’s all about combo!!! You might wanna think about changing your heads or cam. I would think you should be closer 500, but it depends on how aggresive you where :gotme:
It isn’t a t-rex cam that’s for sure. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a LS1 pump gas engine make anything more then 475ish wheel.
Edit: do you have a 15th anny recaro trans am? My father in law purchased one brand new back in the day. He loved that car and still talks about it.
PatrickG has a H/C configuration that puts out 500rwhp on pump gas…They have repeated it a couple times with different cars.

Though if I slapped on an electric water pump and a fast 90 I bet I would get a lot closer. I still have a stock ls6 mani and t/b. He did a ton of work to get that 500hp. I would have just done it with a larger block. It would be interesting to see what he could get out of a 383 or 408.

i dont think i could even get my 328is that low in weight if i even wanted to. You sure its only 2600lbs? thats like a 2fat chicks shy of a honda civic.

Mine is 2900 without any sound deadening, sparcos, and a bunch of other crap removed. But I also have a bolt in 4 point and A/C still.
How does she look? Pictures? Where did you get this car from? If it is his old car this could be interesting.
it’s not in the 26’s yet. when all is said and done it should be high 2600’s. right now it’s high 27’s.
