LOL it was 65K when it came out,then GM seen what it was selling for and raised it up like 3,500.Then there was a normal price increase of like 800 or so in the summer for the 07 model.
I’m trying to pull every damn string I can in WNY to get one of these things at dealer cost and it’s not working at all.I could’ve gotten one for a $1k off of sticker in Aug(07 now sits at the limo shop on Erie).As a GM employee it is hard(maybe physilogically) to pay sticker price for a car.
i.e.-my 06 Vert had a msrp of $61 -$10K GM discount=$51K+tax =$55K out the door.
to buy an 07 Z- $77,425 loaded up+Tax and dest = about $85K out the door.
That $30K extra seemed just too much for me for a car w/ a motor(know theres more) that they are making 8-9,000 a year now.
Now if it was rare and they were only going to make 2,500 of them I would already own it.Still an awesome car tho,don’t get me wrong.
