Ca18 Swap Question - Wires

Almost ready to start up the CA, but I can’t seem to find where some of these wires go. There are 4 plugs down near the alternator and under the intake manifold, and im not sure where they go, heres a pic :

*the 4th plug is not in the picture but is a small black plug…

Also, there are 2 more clips on the other side of the bay. One is near my power steering canister (this is in a 90 180 btw), and the other is near it, near my air intake. The clips don’t go into eachother. Heres a pic of the first one:

Heres a pic of the 2nd:

**Would also like to note that I believe my wiring harness was for an AUTO, and a 5 speed swap was done. And then now I’m putting in another 5 speed, so not sure if I need all of the plugs.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

If anyone is willing to come to Whitby I’ll pay them to figure this stuff out. I need my car running asap…Thanks

Links are bad, I can’t see the Pic’s…

Fixed.

the center black one with the rubber boot is for the oil pressure sender

Do you know where its located on the CA?

i imagine rite by the oil filter?

Locations here:

-The oil pressure sender is located at the green circle.

-The plug in the first pic, the one furthest to the left is your knock sensor plug. It’s located at the red circle.

-The second pic plug is not needed for anything.

-In the first pic on the right side, its connected to one of the sensors on the trans. The plug that is not in the pic is most likely for your starter. It should be small and have a slot in the end for the connection.

-The last pic plug doesn’t connect to anything.

I hope this helps you out.

^^^all above are correct, the lil plug with the green stripe connects to the transmition (lower harness plug)…

Its the vehicle speed sensor. I was looking at the FSM.

Sick man. Thanks!!

Hey, got all the plugs in except for the starter plug. Do you guys know where exactly on the starter it plugs into? I can’t see a thing and I try and feel around but have no luck…

The plug sits “in” the alternator.

If you have the ring terminal already on then you can easily find the opening for the plug. It will be almost facing you when you look at it.

Here is a reference to where it goes:

It is hard to see, but you more or less have to feel it. It’s only a flat spade sticking out about 5/16". It should be directly on top of the starter.
