my buddys ca wont go past 2 thou rpms for some reason…its seems fuel relatied but
i dont know what it could be…the maf is really ghetto lol the wiring sucks…we can
start the car with the maf plugged in then when we unplug it the car idles the exact same but still wont go past 2 thou rpms…anyone know what this could be? thanks
u pretty much answered ur own question… especially since u said the wiring is “ghetto” i’d be leaning toward maf… i have a few kicking around if need be.

proly 10 bucks… but since ur in calgary why dont u just phone up autodream and ask if u can borrow a ca/sohc ka maf and plug it in urs n see what happens…it’l save ya some hassle

if the car wont rev past 2000rpm it means the car isnt gettin a signal and the ecu is in safe mode. so i would have to say that ur maf isn;t gettin a signal.

i had a simular problem when i installed my SAFC
