ok well last season i raced a silver gt stang that the kid was talking about supercharging and bla bla bla,so i went and ran him on sum highway and we did the 3 beeps like 6 times and ill pull him eveytime like he wasnt goin,so i finally let him just take off like from behind me blow past me and then i started to reel him in so i guess he thought that sum how he beat me so now like months later i get a friend request on myspace from sum kid erik with a grey mustang with the little horse thing on the side and he starts talkin shit to me on myspace,callin me a ricer and sayin that i got beat,so i dunno if there on here or if ne one knows theses kids cuz i have no idea who they r but i just wanted to let them know that im hunting for them next year so let the winter drama start haha would deff like to run one or both of these cars next season

you know its not like the guys with civics made this term up. i believe it goes back to the mid 80’s early 90’s when for had horrible quality control (its been improved a little). lots-o-recalls, 55mph paint, so on and so forth.

as for the economy car thing, yep its an economy car. it costs about as much as a mustang too. which is by no means a luxury car.

Im perfectly aware where the term came from. Thats all well and good but that was the 80’s… this is now. The point is it annoys me to hear. Im sure a few other members feel the same. There are a few key phrases I can use everytime I refer to a Civic as well but I keep my mouth shut because it would be ignorant as well as sound bad.

I dunno. You may be right but I try to be open minded and look at several different perspectives before I make a decision. What Im thinking now is that everytime I or somone else slams another car… a civic or a vw or a audi for example… people who own those cars definitely get irritated and you can see that in MANY of the flame responses in threads.
