ohhhhh ok haha i’m shooting for 315 to the wheels… so whats that like 345 at the crank? anyways I would go FI but i would be looking at 6k just for a kit/ecu/injectors/etc and that doesnt count getting a tune. Personally I would rather have a wet shot so it’s there when i want it rather then having a SC/Turbo constantly wearing my engine. I don’t plan the use the 75 often just there when i want it. And going FI w/ nitrous would require hella work on my bottom end and requiring me to change my compression ratio. So all in all I could be looking at somewhere around 8k-10k. I’ll just stick with wet shot for now seeing as the VQ’s handle it well and i’ll be close to somewhere who is FI. Not saying in the future that i wont go FI as money will decide that

Yea I would pry go vortech SC. Then do LT headers w/ cams as stated. VQ35DE motors pretty much get 0 hp off headers alone… need to match the cams with it… but cams would pry be S2 JWT. COming next month I will be getting an osiris uprev tune at RDZ. But the FI thing is a ways down the road…

you dont need to change your internals for FI, just dont go crazy with alot of boost. and you can really wear down your rings with nitrous aswell. you just have to have a good tune in the car. if you can, dont get a canned tune. get a reputable guy to tune your car on a dyno, especially if you are spraying.
Hence why I am going to RDZ motorsports in CT… those guys know the Z platform very well!!! And i would have to change the internals after 8/9 psi of boost seeing as the VQ35DE can only handle about 400hp +/- on stock internals. Every knowledgable person should know that changing anything OEM wise is just a matter of “when” something will break not “if”
u said osiris uprev tune. i thought that was a mail order tune. they offer both dont they? Uprev’s Osiris software is like hondata or dsm link correct? i didnt know which way you were going with tuning. do you have a wideband or egt gauge yet?
The osiris UpRev tune can be a mail order but RDZ has the package in house… It hooks up through the OBD2 and can set up to 3 maps. It’s just a reflash which will change my WOT to almost 100% since the VQ35DE is set factory at olny about 85%. Should see about 8-10 hp with the tune alone from everyone on g35driver that has had it done w/ dyno sheets. No point in me going with a standalone such as haltech or AEM EMS seeing as I am not going FI just yet. I don’t have any gauges in the G as of right now but I have an A/F, and triple gauge pod alone… getting the parts together before I make the trip to CT
what kind of wideband o2 are you using?
AEM… all my gauges will be AEM
