Ebay turbos are no joke, but seriously there hit or miss, some guys are pushing over 600whp with them and been doing it for a couple years, other barley hit 200-300whp and they last 2 days…
but i wouldent buy one… so who knows maybe he got a good one ;D
if you dont spin them fast they usually last longer… like on a honda where 14psi makes a ton of power… high RPM on the shaft is what kills hte eBay turbos 9/10 times
a garrett .62?? what is that. i have a garrett GT3071R, with a .60 compressor cover, .63 ar turbine housing, t3 flanged, 56trim compressor, 71mm exducer compressor wheel, 53.1mm inducer, with a 60mm turbine wheel…
you take pics of the badges on your car and you didn’t take a pic where you can actually make out ‘garrett’ and not some random core compressor housing.
basically. and that picture he posted of that big turbo one… isnt even his, i guarentee it. where are the NYS reg/inspection tags on the window?? and its the only picture in that album… there are pictures of some black pile with a tiny stock turbo on it, taken in a similar fashion in his main gallery… poser.
also, note that all the other pictures in the gallery are with a SONY DSC-S40 and the big turbo is with an HP Photosmart M537… again… way to use someone else’s picture
i was probably just board messin with camera, why should i prove its a garrett? that turbo was .80 ar compressor housing, 53 mm compressor wheel: inducer 42mm exducer 53, .64 AR trim .64 housing not sure in and ex. the compressor wheel and housing on that turbo is .60 AR 70mm wheel, 48mm inducer and 70mm exducer . I had that turbo on a long time ago.
those are such ODD dimensions… ive never seen a compressor blade that only has an increase of 11mm from the inducer to the exducer… and a .62 ar compressor cover? he has no clue… ebay ebay ebay ebay ebay
