High speed pulls are no problem for the LS1. In stock trim it is electronically limited to 155 in my car. I have personally witnessed stock LS1’s do well over 160.

It has alot to do with the speed rating of the factory tires. My GTP was limited at 126 cause the factory tire spec was only good for 130mph. But I turned off the limiter and hit nearly 150 in third gear.

Your tranny may be slighty different…All I know is that my civic went to almost 180 and I’m assuming K-Pro eliminates any type of speed limiter.

I have an RSX cluster in it and it stops at 160 and the needle was well past that when I let off. Like I said, I don’t know if it was 180 but it was well past 160…
