I would rather have that wheel than the stocker any day, good choice John
Nice work on the car

I found this picture from when we did the dash
how much did you save on the !ABS, like 15lbs? what about taking the HVAC out
The ABS was actually pretty significant, I was surprised. There is a big bracket under it, and all those little things add up fast. I am sure the HVAC saved weight, but the nicest thing from that side is the ability to change plugs with ease.
meh idk if i would want to loose my heat…
John still has his heat. Stock controls and all. Look at the pictures bud
Heater hoses going into the cabin:
Heater core mounted to the factory fan:
The only downside is that the heat only blows up, not out of the vents. Its just like using the defrost vents normally though, it still comes off of the windshield and fills up the care nicely.
yes but he rigged up something, im saying by just removing the shit you loose your heat yes?
Well, just by removing it, you will have a 1.5’ x 1.5’ hole in your firewall, you have to rig something up. Its not the easiest job, but I would say that anyone with some fab experience could come up with this similar design.
well as i remember BMR makes a plate to cover the hole
I understand that
I was generalizing
Oops nevermind I thought you were talking to me
back to work, were on a deadline!
Ya,
chromoly
looking good john.
I heard john costello likes to soak on some goats. Stupid f-bod.
Your ability to be so good at this still amazes me. I can gather the concepts of how a head flows, but putting it to a visual in your head and actually doing it is so beyond what my brain can do. Nice work.
Got alot more done
Once I took the center diff out of auto mode and put it on full rear, I was killing the van’s lap times
Front shocks are Strange single adjustable, I got form Paul at PM performance. Paid less then I’ve seen listed anywhere else. They ride great on the street, and loosen them up for great track times. I need to get a set of rears soon, probably going dual adjustable. Looking to get alot better 60s this year.
