My deck needs a new flex cable for the faceplate. I have the cable, but it needs to be soldered in and a sure as hell dont want to do it. Anyone up for the task?
What needs to be done? Just two wires soldered together or a wire onto a circuit board or something?

I assume it has to be soldered to a circuit board, but I haven’t taken it all the way apart yet. I’ll take a look at it tonight and let ya know.
Post me a pic and ill let u know if id be able to do it, Ive soldered a few chips onto motherboards, but i need to see it to tell u forsure.

just take it to certified radio, they fix shit like that at there west end store i think…
