there is a guy who makes them on myspecv.com, but charges almost $150.00 for it. if that is what it costs, thats fine, but i would rather spend my money on here.

If your trunk construction is anything like Honda’s…then that bar does nothing. 90% of those monkey bar setups (for example they sell a set of 6 fucking bars for my car) do nothing. The forces transmitted to the trunk floor via the shock towers ARE NOT even in the same plane/direction as those bars. Aesthetics FTL in this situation.
it is supposed to improve the handling and stiffen the rear suspension up a bit…
they are all “supposed” to do something, but unfortunately there is never any hard data to support…except the occasional butt-dyno…and we all know how accurate those are.
You could rig up a string formation in the trunk (monitored by a camera during hard cornering) to see if there even IS any deformation back there to warrant the purchase of a bar.
Given that your/my car is FWD…with a built-in understeering tendency…making the car more neutral would be a benefit…trunk bars of any kind will not help the dynamics of the car.
