I wanna buy this bike but the guy doesn’t have the title. It was last registered in 94. Its a 1992 Yamaha. I wanna try toget a hold of previous owner to get it on the road. Can anyone help?here is the vin JYA2RRA00NA058740
best bet is to have the VIN ran at a police station. OR say F-it and find one of the websites for third-party registration/title/tags for a state that will only require a bill of sale such as Vermont…truth be told, it has gotten more and more difficult each year to get non-title bikes back on the road. the loophole states have progressively been tightening up regulations and such making, the options are becoming exponentially less. it’s a real shame, sometimes you find a fantastic bike that’s totally rideable yet doomed to parts-donorship.

Yeah, you can. Man up and pay for one as it will be cheaper in the long run if it finds some potential title issue.
