…that they don’t need to paint the roads WHITE with salt?
The roads down here in southern erie are literally completely white with road salt. It’s absurd. There is no need for that much salt to be layed down. I understand they are clearing roads, but damn.
Just curious on whereelse excessive salting is taking place.
its b/c they have to much salt now from dec b/c no snow then …thats what i think

My car is always coated in that shit.
they use sand in stead of salt down here in wellsville and it destroys the paint on all the cars, right on the front of the rocker panel behind the wheel. the sand is because the salt gets into the water and hurts the Trout i am told
They did a nice job on painting my car as well. Road camo is pretty awesome.

they use all the salt now and wil probably salt when its 50 out and in the middle of february when we need salt the city will be like umm urr we dont have none
My Honda is rusting so bad this year. Oh well, beaters FTW. I’m betting on how much longer my driver side front mudflap hangs on before it falls off taking a rusty hunk of my fender with it. I’m thinking March.:ohyeah:
the wrx is coated in salt and sand…my road is one of the most salted/sanded roads in wny (old chestnut ridge rd) there is about an inch of sand on my road…it takes until late may to finally clear all the shit off the road.

i’ve noticed that if you look down a busy road over the horizon, you can see a nice cloud rising up from the road…
I wonder how bad it is for the enviroment?
