Can this be repaired or do I have to get a new bumper cover? My Fiance was driving going about 45mph when a HUGE piece of ice fell off a truck and into her lane. It busted up the front end pretty good. Here are a couple of pics I took before I rigged it up.
Notice the 8"-10" piece hanging down a little (kinda easy to miss) and the other crack where it creases over

Thats the rumor…but honestly shit happens…there isnt anything I can do now. Anyone know of any yards I can call that would have a front bumper cover for it (02 Eclipse GT)

For years, Pennsylvania law has required drivers to remove snow and ice from their vehicles before driving. Motorists will now suffer severe penalties and fines if snow or ice they failed to clear from their vehicle injures or kills someone, according to a press release from state Rep. Robert Godshall (R-Montgomery).
“Specifically, the fines could range from $200 to $1,000 per offense,” Godshall said in his press release.
This new law is important because most drivers don’t realize how negligent it is to drive around with only 40 percent of their windshield visible because of ice or snow, Davis said.
“Most people don’t take the extra half an hour to clean off their cars and heat them on a snowy morning, but that extra time and greater visibility can be the difference between safe driving and fatalities,” Davis said. “These laws are put together to improve drivers’ safety and help them stay alive a little longer.”

Any yards I can call? I called the dealer and new is 226 + 17 ofr the black duct piece…and I need all new fasteners. So I figure 250 + cost to paint and install it.

aftermarket are a little cheaper, but a mitsu part will fit better. not a bad price IMO. you definitely need a new one.

What about this one. Prepainted and guarentee to be perferct match and fit. So $282 for a painted one…or about $100 then have to pay to have it painted. Thoughts?
