I remember hearing about this. Supposed to be the redeemer of Palm and looks pretty cool but I don’t know. The PalmOS boat sailed back in the early Treo days.
Well an html based OS is pretty crazy. But bad crazy like your crazy aunt with 15 cats, not good crazy like the drunk blonde with way too much eye shadow falling on you.

Palm has never had a good OS. People got used to it, and it was the best thing out there for a short period, but still. It’s always been terrible.

But they have a good vertical in the medical field with the software that is out there for it. Along with the real estate market.
Hospitals have been buying up non-cellular palms like crazy as of late…
IMO Palm OS is an extremely functional OS. It is easy to use, and navigation is quick. Never takes more than a few clicks to do anything.
However, the look is attrocious. It looks like Windows 3.1 lol

Back on topic: Pretty slick little palm. The hardware matches up with everying I like in a phone. If the Web OS doesn’t suck and it comes to Verizon I’d be interested. :shrug:
VZW has a horrible relationship with Palm.
I would expect this to go Sprint.
it is already listed on sprint’s website. Search google for Palm pre. Sprint’s got it up there, saying that it is coming.
