me and a friend are restoring his caprice that has been sitting at his house, its got an almost brand new paint job, LT1, Throttle body spacer, and 373’s as soon as we go up to JJ’s this week to pick it up.
now im thinkin of building the motor alot more, and my friend wants to go for style( like lowered with some nice 18 inch 5 spokes) i would like to do both but what does everyone else think? this is the car to play around with since he sold his S10 with the 400 smallblock :boink
do both…go with some show…but have speed to back it up…u know…all show…all go…
im still wonderin if you can swap a ls1 6spd into it :wackit:
Umm, a year might help us give you some advice. But any year Caprice has ample room for a LS1/6 and a T56 but I don’t believe any company makes the motor mounts, headers etc. to make it a “bolt-up” install.
