u dont want to get a lt1… ls1 all the way

ya i know but im just seeing what people have to offer but thats prob the way i will go

^ Yup - LT1’s are slow. Stay away from those… :bloated:

They are slow…

crazylt1 vs sherm?

I didn’t say my car was faster then his built blown LT1…

I would hope for all the money he has into his setup it would be faster then a bolt on LS1…or even a cammed LS1

what year is your f-bod? if you stick with the one from that year it will save you a world of shit.

LT1 are cheap. And they sound BA.

If you are poor with a mullet, get an LT1

Yeah man, lt1 are the slowest car on the road, what the fuck are you even thinking… Holy ftw shit, ls1’s are GOD!!!

:word:

 preach on!

they can help you out here…

I got a LT1 shoehorned in my 95 v6 base. And a t56 in an auto car too.

Money into my car?? The extra cash I spent on the blower would have been equal to the extra cash you would have to spend to buy an LS1 over an LT1. Anyways - I could have just slapped a $600 nitrous kit on there and done the same thing. But I just preferred the blower.

-The built bottom-end… ummm I’m pretty sure that doesn’t make my car any faster. Yes - it obviously did cost money (not all that much though). But it also gives me more assurance that my motor will hold together, which is always a good thing when trying to make power.
-And yes - LS1 motors must also be built if you want to put a lot of power through them and you don’t want the pistons to melt. :banghead:

I’m not saying either motor is better. Because stock for stock - there is no doubt that LS1’s are faster.

BUT, when it comes to high performance use - either motor can be taken to insane amounts of horsepower if done correctly…
