To add to my VPC comment…once you max out the sensor, the car will just lean out a little with more boost, which can be fixed simply by adding fuel to the map. I never had to though, it was still always ‘safe’ up to as much boost as my little 67 would make.

im sorry but that ghetto way of running more boost is definately not recommended. in the areas between 30psi and 43psi it will always run the same fueling/timing when obviously the demand is different.
