I figure a bunch of us will be storing our cars for the winter so this may help more than just myself…
This is going to be my first winter storing a car, where do you all store your cars?
I’m just looking for something cheap indoors and secure.
I heard from someone it costs about $30/month - is that about accurate?
I don’t really even know of any places though… what do you guys do? (other than store it yourself)

Last place I stored my car was IIRC $12X/mth

Indoor heated storage will be around 250-300 in the city…
Outdoor storage at a facility will cost under 100/month.
If you are in the boons the price goes down.

Yah well it’s not an option for everyone. 
I tried bribing my mom with a remote starter and keyless entry for her van to give up the garage this year but it was a no go…
Have you considered car cover/tarp as an option?
On days with no snow, just remove the cover to let it breathe.
It’s not that I need a place away from the wind kina thing to work on it a bit.

Another option is to convince your family to buy a larger house with more garages saying something like “well, this way you get to put your cars in the garage too” and then when they do, go back on your word and monopolize the now larger garage so you not only have a place to store it, but another bay for tools and workspace 
some options are family with empty garages and storage untis.
I am going the first week of November to a storage place, I have reserved a 10x15 storage unit. Cost is about $189 a month taxes in with 24/7 access.
Yikes, we need to get krimzen in here - he said $30/month for indoor storage hehe.
